Reply with quote | #1 | Okay, so I missed out on BE's rebirth when they had it available. Are there any good duplicates for it in Heather's lovely colors? Thanks! Laura

Reply with quote | #2 | Now I dont personally own this shadow, but from looking at pics online it looks like a dark grey/black with smokey silver bits in. So I suggest Hark the raven, The Art Of Attitude (with pearl diamonds/pearl iridescent twinkle), Shards of glass or even possibly Splinter. Hope this helps !

I've been trying, rather unsuccessfully, to find a dup for Rebirth as well. Hark The Raven is too dark. I tried Shadows Know and it's too blue. Haven't gotten around to mixing things yet. |

Hi ladies. Just as info Rebirth is: oceanic tones of gray, blue, purple combined. |

Reply with quote | #6 | to me, One Broken Stiletto looks the closest to Rebirth when swatched. It isn't dead on, but it is close. I actually like One Broken Stiletto better.

Heather has a dead-on dupe for Rebirth, and I discovered it this weekend when I was in Vegas. Happy Birthday Chris from the Colors for a Cause Duo is almost spot on for Rebirth. And I mean spot-on ~ it's hard to tell the difference between them swatched on my hand, both dry & wet. I will try to post swatches this week, but I am telling you ~ Happy Birthday Chris!!!!!! __________________ Forgiving others doesn't make them right ~ it makes you free. |

Reply with quote | #9 | mrsivan, if you get a chance, I would love to see swatches of Rebirth and Happy Birthday Chris. From Heather's description, I would never think those were close. TIA! |

Reply with quote | #10 | Hmmmmm.... My Rebirth and Happy Birthday Chris aren't similar at all. BE describes Rebirth as "denim blue with flecks of iridescent color". Heather describes Happy Birthday Chris as "deep cocoa brown with color changing micas". I actually think both descriptions are spot on. My Rebirth is definitely blue based, Chris is much more cocoa/neutral/raisin based... Hope that helps. __________________ Karen |

Reply with quote | #11 | As far as additives go, I'd say Happy Birthday Chris and Rebirth are VERY similar... meaning they have basically identical sparklies... but Rebirth is like a stormy dark blue/gray and Happy Birthday Chris is more of a cocoa/raisin... I tried to take pics side by side for reference

Left is Happy Birthday Chris, Right is Rebirth. The swatches are dry... perhaps I should try them wet and you will see them better... hmmm...

Has anyone compared Rebirth to Hap Hazard from the Random Acts of Color collection? I have been playing in my samples again this week and every time I see Hap Hazard I wonder how they compare. I have only seen pictures of Rebirth, but Hap Hazard reminds me of those pictures every time. Hap Hazard is still up on the Savvy Club page, described as a gunmetal iridescent twinkle with twinkling bits of puple and baby blue sparkle. I see a bluish/greyish base with lots of pretty sparkle.
